Tokyo Sukiyaki Theaters is a joint project by Cinemago, which distributes independent films in Japan, and todoiF, which has been streaming independent films to international audiences. This hybrid film festival, which leverages the strengths of both companies, is a special place where films can be presented to audiences around the world at the same time. How can I submit my film?

We only accept submissions from Film Freeway or festhome.

What genres can be submitted?

Any genre! Drama, Science Fiction, Action, Horror, Comedy, Animation and Documentary.

Where will the selected films be screened?

The selected films will be streamed on line and the best one(s) of these films will be screened at the Koenji Theater Bacchus, Tokyo.

What prizes and awards are available?

Grand Prix will be awarded in each of the short and feature film Competition.
In the genre category, the Best Drama, Science Fiction, Action, Horror, Comedy, Animation, and Documentary prizes will be awarded. And the Best Artistic Contribution Award for a film that excels in some area.

The awarded film(s) will be screened with Japanese subtitles at Koenji Theater Bacchus in Tokyo, December 2024.

There is no cash prize and no funding for your next film.
